Money Magic. Mastering Prosperity in Its True Element. Frater U:.D:.
I'm enjoying "Money Magic" by Frater U:.D:.
It's amazing how many magical practitioners have trouble meeting their monetary needs. Certainly applied magic should allow us to improve our finances. Shouldn't magicians who are tired of poverty be able to use their magic to obtain wealth?
Now, one of the world's most famous ceremonial magicians, Frater U∴D∴, reveals full instructions for a variety of magical ways to obtain greater wealth in his eagerly awaited new book. Here he begins by placing money in its proper element (Air, not Earth!) and shows you how to create your own rituals to bring money. Exercises help you to untie the mental knots keeping you from success and free up the Mercurial energy of money so that it will flow into your life.
This isn't a simplistic spellbook. Rather, it features all of the information, exercises, rituals, and real magical work that, with study and practice, can change your life.

The Illustrated Golden Bough. Sir James George Frazer
![]() |
The Illustrated Golden Bough. Sir James George Frazer
I'm enjoying The Illustrated Golden Bough by Sir James George Frazer.
A classic study of the beliefs and institutions of mankind, and the progress through magic and religion to scientific thought, The Golden Bough has a unique status in modern anthropology and literature.
First published in 1890, The Golden Bough was eventually issued in a twelve-volume edition (1906-15) which was abridged in 1922 by the author and his wife. That abridgement has never been reconsidered for a modern audience. In it some of the more controversial passages were dropped, including Frazer's daring speculations on the Crucifixion of Christ. For the first time this one-volume edition restores Frazer's bolder theories and sets them within the framework of a valuable introduction and notes. With new, modern packaging this new edition is a valuable classic to add to your bookshelf.

Introduction to Magic. Volume Three. Julius Evola and the UR Group
![]() |
Introduction to Magic. Volume Three. Julius Evola and the UR Group
I've moved on to Volume Three of "Introduction to Magic" by Julius Evola and the UR Group.
• Explores esoteric practices for individual development, handed down from a primordial tradition and discernable in alchemy, Hermetism, religious doctrines, Tantra, Taoism, Buddhism, Vedanta, and the pagan mysteries of the West
• Reveals the ultimate magical goal of the “Absolute Individual,” the immortal and divine potential that requires rare gifts and extraordinary efforts for its realization
This volume, the third in the series, complements the first two, yet they are not strictly sequential, and their contents can be read in any order. Volume III, more than the others, bears the personal stamp of Julius Evola. In its pages you’ll discover that the “magic” of the UR Group has nothing to do with sorcery or superstition. It was their term for an active and affirmative attitude toward individual development handed down from a “primordial tradition” and discernible in alchemy, Hermetism, esoteric religious doctrines, indigenous practices, Tantra, Taoism, Buddhism, Vedanta, and the pagan mysteries of the West. Its goal was the “Absolute Individual,” the immortal and divine potential that requires rare gifts and extraordinary efforts for its realization.
However, there is incalculable value in this volume even for the less heroic. By studying the practices and realizations within, the reader will be liberated from conventional dogmas--religious, political, scientific, and psychological--and see with the clearer eye of realization.

Introduction to Magic. Volume Two. The Path of Initiatic Wisdom. Julius Evola and the UR Group

Introduction to Magic. Volume Two. The Path of Initiatic Wisdom. Julius Evola and the UR Group
I'm Enjoying the 2nd Volume of "Introduction to Magic: The Path of Initiatic Wisdom" by Julius Evola and the UR Group.
• Shares a rigorous selection of initiatory exercises, including instructions for creating the diaphanous body of the Opus magicum, establishing initiatic consciousness after death, and the construction of magical chains (the enchained awareness of initiates)
• Offers studies of mystery traditions throughout history, presenting not only the principles themselves but also witnesses to them and their continual validity today
The “Gruppo di UR” was a group of Italian esotericists who collaborated from 1927 to 1929. The purpose of this group was to study and practice ancient rituals gleaned from the mystery traditions of the world, both East and West, in order to attain a state of superhuman consciousness and power to allow them to act magically on the world. They produced a monthly journal containing techniques for spiritual realization, accounts of personal experiences, translations of ancient texts, and original essays on esoteric topics. The group included a distinguished line-up of occultists, neo-pagans, freemasons, Anthroposophists, orientalists, poets, and members of high society. The prime movers of the group were Arturo Reghini (1878-1946), a Pythagorean mathematician and reviver of a spiritual Freemasonry, and Julius Evola (1898-1974), then a young philosopher with a precocious mastery of the esoteric doctrines of East and West. Many years later, in 1971, Evola gathered these essays into three volumes. Inner Traditions published Volume I in 2001, under the title Introduction to Magic: Rituals and Practical Techniques for the Magus.
This volume, the second in the series, complements the first one, yet they are not strictly sequential, and their contents can be read in any order. Volume II shares authentic initiatic wisdom and a rigorous selection of initiatory exercises, including instructions for creating the diaphanous body of the Opus magicum, establishing initiatic consciousness after death, and the construction of magical chains (the enchained awareness of initiates). It offers studies of mystery traditions throughout history, presenting not only the principles themselves but also witnesses to them and their continual validity today.
This series shows that the “Magic” of the UR Group meant an active and affirmative attitude toward individual development, handed down from a “primordial tradition” and discernable in alchemy, Hermetism, esoteric religious doctrines, indigenous practices, Tantra, Taoism, Buddhism, Vedanta, and the pagan mysteries of the West. Although some of the practical experiments demanded extraordinary efforts, both individual and collective, there is incalculable value here even for the less heroic, for merely reading these essays leaves a permanent mark on the reader.

The Witch's Coin. Prosperity and Money Magick. Christopher Penczak
I'm enjoying "The Witch's Coin: Prosperity and Money Magick" by Christopher Penczak.
Along with quick-fix money spells, this timely book explores the consciousness of prosperity and how to transform poverty into abundance through magick, meditation, affirmations, and astrological timing. The Witch's Coin offers a materia magicka of the most powerful correspondences in wealth spellwork, including gods, stones, metals, herbs, and coins. Unlike most money magick books, it builds upon a foundation of real-world financial principles. Penczak also discusses offering magickal services professionally, including how and when to charge for readings and healings.

Spells for Change. A Guide for Modern Witches. Frankie Castanea. Chaotic Witch Aunt
I'm enjoying "Spells for Change: A Guide for Modern Witches" by social media influencer Frankie Castanea aka Chaotic Witch Aunt.
Forget warts and cauldrons—a new generation of
witches is on the rise. From justice spells to protective charms,
Frankie Castanea brings their fresh style to an ancient practice,
showing that contemporary witchcraft is a powerful force for good and a
tool for manifesting positive change.
Modern-day
witches are a blend of the old and the new. They travel to the grocery
store, work nine-to-five jobs, and teach in our classrooms. They also
carry black tourmaline and quartz, and wave bay and rosemary bundles
over their doorways.
Within an ancient and sacred practice, a new
type of Craft has taken hold: one that combines the power of action
with energy and intent, prioritizes self-realization, and matches its
activism with manifestation.
With chapters on meditation, grounding, cleansing, banishing, binding, and more, Spells for Change will help the modern witch create change within the hearth, the heart, and the world—one spell at a time.

Introduction to Magic. Volume One. Rituals and Practical Techniques for the Magus. Julius Evola and the UR Group
I'm enjoying Volume One of "Introduction to Magic: Rituals and Practical Techniques for the Magus" by Julius Evola and the UR Group.
The rites, practices, and texts collected by the mysterious UR group for the use of aspiring mages.
• Rare Hermetic texts published in English for the first time.
• Includes instructions for developing psychic and magical powers.
In 1927 Julius Evola and other leading Italian intellectuals formed the mysterious UR group. Their goal: to bring their individual egos into a state of superhuman power and awareness in which they could act "magically" on the world. Their methods: the practice of ancient Tantric and Buddhist rituals and the study of rare Hermetic texts. So successful were they that rumors spread throughout Italy of the group's power, and Mussolini himself became quite fearful of them. Now for the first time in English Introduction to Magic collects the rites, practices, and knowledge of the UR group for the use of aspiring mages.
Included in Introduction to Magic are instructions for creating an etheric double, speaking words of power, using fragrances, interacting with entities, and creating a "magical chain." Among the arcane texts translated are the Tibetan teachings of the Thunderbolt Diamond Path, the Mithraic mystery cult's "Grand Papyrus of Paris," and the Greco-Egyptian magical text De Mysteriis. Anyone who has exhausted the possibilities of the mundane world and is ready to take the steps necessary to purify the soul in the light of knowledge and the fire of dedication will find a number of expert mentors here.

The Tarot. A Key to the Wisdom of the Ages. Paul Foster Case. BOTA
I'm enjoying "The Tarot: A Key to the Wisdom of the Ages" by Paul Foster Case.
Many students of the Western esoteric tradition consider Paul Foster Case's The Tarotthe finest explanation that has yet appeared on the occult meaning of numbers, the construction of the Tarot, and the attribution of the 22 Major Trumps to the Hebrew alphabet.
In clear and understandable language, Case elucidates the Tarot tradition and technique for the modern thinker. Students of the Tarot will find in these pages the necessary information to understand and apply the principles of Tarot-and the correspondences of symbol, tone, color, and number-to the art of daily living. The author also includes extremely useful chapters on methods of study and Tarot divination.
In this 2006 edition, the book appears for the first time with an index and an appendix of resources. Here is a genuine underground masterpiece, made available to a broad new readership.

I'm Enjoying "Manifest Thy Glory"
Manifest Thy Gloryoffers a selection of papers from the eighth biennial National Ordo Templi Orientis Conference (NOTOCON) of the United States Grand Lodge of O.T.O., held in the Valley of Detroit, Michigan, in 2011 EV. The papers cover diverse topics including the Holy Guardian Angel, talismans in magick, spatial orientation in ritual, and other magical methods; occult history and biography, including the Stele of Revealing and Ida Craddock; promulgation of Thelema through publishing and podcasts; textual analysis from Catullus to “Liber Trigrammaton;” a touching reminiscence from the incomparable Lon Milo DuQuette; and even space, the final frontier. Other highlights include a street guide to Thelemic historical sites in Detroit, and the address given by U.S. National Grand Master Sabazius. They represent some of best modern practical and scholarly work on Ordo Templi Orientis, Thelema, and the magick of Aleister Crowley.
The first NOTOCON conference took place in 1997 EV in Akron, Ohio, and has since been held on alternate years in different cities around the United States. Manifest Thy Gloryis the third collection of papers from the national conference to be made available, following the inaugural volume Beauty & Strengthfor the 2007 EV conference.
Ordo Templi Orientis is an international fraternal order of men and women devoted to the pursuit of individual liberty, the study of magick, and the promulgation of the Law of Thelema. Founded in the early twentieth century, it has been shaped by such leading lights as Carl Kellner, Theodor Reuss, Aleister Crowley, Karl Germer and Grady Louis McMurtry.
