In the introduction to Revelation of the Holy Grail, Chevalier Emerys (Timothy Hogan) states, "I hope to show that the myths, philosophy and science of the Grail were created as a guidepost for the age of Aquarius, which is to come… I will show that the Grail science was created as a means of individual development and spiritual regeneration, and that it has hidden within it an actual technology that will one day transform the world." Over the course of the next 300+ pages, Timothy Hogan takes the reader on an intriguing and complex journey through history regarding the Arthurian Legends and the Grail Traditions, then ventures off through esoteric realms and observes subjects such as Atlantis, Sacred Geometry, Alchemy, Rennes-le-chateau, the Prester John story, the Knights Templar, the Freemasons and other "secret societies." The text offers pause for thought throughout and if approached with a free-thinking mentality, is often times transformative. To venture further here in a synopsis would be a disservice to the book, which contains insights that are best experienced firsthand.

"Only He who is pure and unselfish in motive will find the Grail… coming to understand a direct gnosis, or knowledge of God."
"The true Holy Grail is believed to be the state of Christ Consciousness, or Gnosis, which is achieved either through meditation alone, or meditation with the Grail stone. It ultimately symbolizes the quest for mankind's highest potential. The transformed self then becomes the greatest healer of the wasteland- both without, and within."
