Written and directed by Bill Muir, The Lost Medallion: The Adventures of Billy Stone (2013) is magical tale with a warm heart. The story concerns a man that stops into a foster home to make a donation and ends up telling the children a fantastical tale about two young friends who uncover a long-lost ancient medallion that transports them back in time. The archaeological atmosphere and overall idea add to the charm of the film. The cast does a good job all-around, including James Hong, William Brent, Sammi Hanratty, Jansen Panettiere and Mark Dacascos.
