     Stephen Salisbury III (founder of the Worcester Art Museum) was fascinated with the Newport Tower, so much so that he commissioned a replica of it to be built in Worcester, MA. It was constructed at Institute Park in 1892 and was torn down in 1956. (these photos are from the 1890's)
