Directed by Anthony Pelissier, and written by Lesley Storm, Personal Affair (1953) combines mystery and melodrama. The story concerns a teenage girl with a crush on her teacher. When confronted by his wife, the young girl disappears, feared dead… and the husband is the chief suspect. Gene Tierney is beautiful, as always in her role. The supporting cast is good as well, including Leo Glenn and Glynis Johns.
