Directed by Jack Arnold, Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954) was the last in the series of Iconic "Monster Movies" from Universal Studios. The story concerns a prehistoric beast that lives in the depths of the Amazon jungle, and a group of scientists that attempt to capture the creature. Innovative underwater cinematography is still impressive more than half a century later. The whole cast is great, but Julie Adams truly steals the show in a series of famous scenes.
