Although panned by critics, Into the Blue (2005) still managed to do well at the box office. This was largely due to the viewers flocking to see Jessica Alba. The plot is mere backdrop. If nothing else, Into the Blue is a very aesthetically attractive film. The underwater cinematography is beautiful and the cast (including Josh Brolin and Scott Caan) seems to have had fun in the on location filming process.
