Directed by Doug Liman, Mr. and Mrs. Smith (2005) is memorable for so many reasons, and on so many levels. The story concerns a husband and wife, each of whom has no idea that the other is secretly an assassin. Tensions and marital discord erupt when each is contracted to kill the other. Fast-pace action and energy run throughout, will full-on doses of comedy thrown in. The film is also important because Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie fell in love in real life on set. Brad Pitt is excellent and humorous. Angelina Jolie is beautiful and sexy in her pivotal role, displaying her lovely figure in attire ranging from domestic chic to leather bondage outfits. Vince Vaughn costars.
