Travis Simpkins to Advise Senator Michael Moore on Art Initiative at Massachusetts State House

     Yesterday, I was invited to meet with Senator Michael O. Moore at the State House in Boston. We discussed certain aspects of the Arts in Worcester County and his thoughts about art on display at the State Capitol. Over the coming months, I will be working with and advising the Senator on an interesting project pertaining to Worcester area colleges and universities, selecting student artwork to be displayed in his office at the historic Massachusetts State House. It's a wonderful idea, great news and I look forward to being involved with Senator Moore and his team… It is a surreal experience to be received on Beacon Hill, an honor to find my opinion held in such high regard, and a privilege to be able to serve the Commonwealth through my expertise.
