Directed by Rob Reiner, and written by William Goldman (based on his own brilliant novel), The Princess Bride (1987) became an instant Classic… full of quotable lines: "As you wish…", "Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to Die." The story is presented in frame fashion, as a fantasy book being read by a grandfather to his sick grandson. The "true love" film is spellbinding, with great performances throughout, including Cary Elwes, Robin Wright, Chris Sarandon, Mandy Patinkin, Andre the Giant, Christopher Guest, Peter Falk, Wallace Shawn, Fred Savage, Billy Crystal, Carol Kane, Mel Smith and Peter Cook.

Directed by Duncan Jones, based on the video game from Blizzard Entertainment, Warcraft (2016) is a superior epic medieval fantasy film. The story concerns an Orc hoard that invades the planet Azeroth through a magic portal… and the humans of that realm who must team up with some dissenting Orcs to stop the true evil behind the war. The CGI special effects are truly astounding… both sweeping and detailed. The design crew did a wonderful job with both sets and costumes… portraying the medieval-style armor and villages well. The cast does a good job, all around, including Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper and Toby Kebbell.
