Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum: Art by Travis Simpkins Presented at Summer Staff Party

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Summer Staff Party, 2017. Art by Travis Simpkins

I had a wonderful time on Wednesday night at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. The summer staff party was a success and two of my new sketches were presented to the recipients, including an Impressionist pastel of "Chrysanthemums, 1888" I made for outgoing HR Manager, Carli DeLaura. As always, it is an honor to have my work represent the world-renowned Gardner collection. I've been creating these ISGM sketches for over two years and it is still a surreal experience.
