Harry S Truman Presidential Library & Museums Acquires Portrait by Travis Simpkins

     My portrait of Harry S Truman has been acquired and added to the permanent collection of the Harry S Truman Presidential Library & Museum. Earlier this week, the curator confirmed that the artwork arrived safely at the museum in Independence, Missouri. I made the portrait last year and it portrays President Truman wearing his collar regalia as Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Missouri. I'm quite honored, knowing that my work will be kept in perpetuity at an official government institution dedicated to our 33rd President of the United States of America.
