M.W. Gregory Scott. Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of New Jersey. Portrait by Travis Simpkins

M.W. Gregory J. Scott. Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of New Jersey. Portrait by Travis Simpkins

Earlier this week, I had the honor of presenting M.W. Gregory J. Scott with the oil portrait I painted of him as the Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of New Jersey. I was happy to be with the newly-installed Grand Master and the Scottish Rite, NMJ team in Atlantic City for the Annual Communication of the Grand Lodge of NJ. The painting will soon be on permanent display at M.W. Scott's Mother Lodge (Peninsula Lodge No. 99) in Bayonne, NJ.

For the bibliophiles: The book depicted alongside him in the painting is over 500 years old. It is a Koberger Bible, printed in Germany in 1478.
