The Pillars of Charity at the House of the Temple recognizes the generosity of those who have donated $1,000,000 or more (either all at once or planned over a longer period). Among the benefits for those donors is an oil portrait, to be displayed at the House of the Temple. I painted the two most recent portraits, in 2019 and 2021.

If you don't have an extra million dollars, there are plenty of other helpful ways to support the House of the Temple. One of the easiest is to just click the "round up" option during check out in their online store when purchasing Scottish Rite books or other merchandise.

When the Scottish Rite, NMJ was filming the 17th Degree back in 2019, I created a bunch of artwork for the production. When I visited Supreme Council headquarters a few weeks ago, it was cool to see that the original drawings I made were framed and hung in sequence in the office of Ill. Jim Dill, 33°.

Filming the Degree in 2019 turned out to be a godsend in 2020, as it was shown at most of the Virtual Reunions held during the pandemic. The filmed 17th Degree will next be shown during the upcoming Virtual Reunions on November 13th and 18th, 2021.

I’m happy each time I see it and am proud to have made a contribution.
