Timeline (2003): Paul Walker and a Wormhole to 1357 AD
Directed by Richard Donner, based on the novel by Michael Crichton, Timeline (2003) took a new spin on time travel. The story concerns a history professor who is sent back in time and trapped in the year 1357 A.D., on the brink of a major battle in the Hundred Years War between England and France. His son and student archaeologists are transported back through the wormhole as well in an effort to save the professor. Medieval warfare action, an original storyline and decent special effects keep the film interesting throughout. The cast does a good job, including Paul Walker, Gerard Butler, Frances O'Connor, Billy Connolly, David Thewlis, Anna Friel and Lambert Wilson.
