Travis Simpkins is a freelance artist, working with clients throughout North America, South America, Europe and Australia. He has created thousands of commissioned portraits. His work has been published in hundreds of periodicals and books.
His works are included in the permanent collections of the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library & Museum and the George Washington Masonic National Memorial.
Travis Simpkins is a staff member of the Worcester Art Museum and has worked on projects for the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. He also served as an advisor for art programs at the Massachusetts State House.
Travis Simpkins' artwork has been utilized by NASA in presentations relating to the Kepler Mission. His draftsmanship has drawn praise from the office of Martin Kemp, art historian and world-renowned authority on Leonardo da Vinci. He has created artwork for bestselling British author Graham Hancock, which has been utilized in promoting Hancock's books, website and lectures. His art has appeared on postage stamps four times in the countries of Liechtenstein and Brazil. He also made an artistic contribution to the most recently published edition of the Ancient Egyptian "Book of the Dead", one of the most well known texts of the ancient world.

Travis Simpkins, 33° is a Dual Member of the Scottish Rite Northern
Masonic Jurisdiction and the Southern Jurisdiction. He was Raised a
Master Mason in Morning Star Lodge (Worcester, MA). In 2022, he was made
an Honorary Member of the Grand Lodge of New Jersey. He is also a
member of the York Rite and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Since
2017, he has served as a portrait artist for the Supreme Council, 33°,
NMJ in Lexington, Massachusetts. He has worked on many projects for the
NMJ, creating more than 100 works of art for the Sovereign Grand
Commander and Supreme Council.
He
also works for the Supreme Council, 33°, Southern Jurisdiction in
Washington, DC. In that capacity, he serves as both the artist for the
Pillars of Charity portrait gallery at the House of the Temple as well
as the artist for The Scottish Rite Journal. His art has also appeared
in numerous publications of the Scottish Rite Research Society.

Simpkins has had a wide reach in Blue Lodge Masonry as well, attracting
International attention, with his Masonic works being requested in
Grand Lodge jurisdictions throughout North America as well as Europe and
Australia.
