Dracula A.D. 1972 (1972): Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing

Directed by Alan Gibson, Dracula A.D. 1972 (1972) was a flagrant effort to try to appeal to the younger, counterculture generation of the 1960's and 1970's. Starting in 1872, when Dracula is killed by Van Helsing, the story fast forwards 100 years to 1972… when Count Dracula returns to torture a group of British teens. Christopher Lee is great as Count Dracula, reprising his role. Peter Cushing plays dual roles, as two generations of the Van Helsing family. Stephanie Beacham is sexy as Jessica Van Helsing. Caroline Munro and Christopher Neame co-star.
