Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, based on the novel by Alexandre Dumas, The Three Musketeers (2011) adds CGI action to the classic swashbuckling tale. The story follows cocky, hot-headed D'Artagnan as he teams up with three has-been musketeers to stop a sexy double agent in a plot to seize the French throne. Obviously, great liberties were taken with the original text. Fast-paced action and imaginative CGI effects keep the scenes interesting throughout. The beautiful Milla Jovovich steals the show in her villainous role as Milady. The rest of the cast does a good job as well, including Orlando Bloom, Christoph Waltz, Mattew Mcfadyen, Logan Lerman, Gabriella Wilde and Luke Evans.
