Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007)

     Directed by Gore Verbinski, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007) was the third film in the series based on the Disney theme park ride. Full of action and dazzling CGI effects, the film picks up where the previous one left off... the crew must rescue Jack Sparrow from Davy Jones' locker and deal with other dubious obstacles encircling the Pirate Brethren. Supernatural elements mix with 18th Century historical details in both weaponry and costumes. The cast is great, as before, including Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley, Geoffrey Rush, Chow Yun-fat, Stellan Skarsgard, Bill Nighy and a cameo appearance by The Rolling Stones' guitarist Keith Richards (on whom Johnny Depp based his portrayal of Jack Sparrow).
