Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013): Quest for the Mythical Golden Fleece

Directed by Thor Freudenthal, based on the book by Rick Riordan, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013) picks up where the first film, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, left off. In order to rescue their dying safe haven camp, Percy Jackson (son of Poseidon) must venture off on a quest to find the mythical Golden Fleece… and prevent the evil Titan Kronos from rising. The special effects inspired by Greek Mythology are astounding and the action carries the story along in entertaining fashion. The cast does a great job, including Logan Lerman, Brandon T. Jackson, Alexandra Daddario, Jake Abel, Douglas Smith, Stanley Tucci and Leven Rambin as the beautiful Clarisse (daughter of Ares).
